"Private Collection" is a site specific work which was exhibited in the context of "Rundum Showcase: Manifesta"*. The work was exhibited on the facade of Taiga space which is a small center of creative industries near the St. Petersburg State Hermitage. By coloring the showcase "hermitage-green" my intent was to comment on the constant presence of the large institution and on the possibility of gentrification. In september 2017, Taiga was forced to cease it’s work.

 

*Rundum Artist-Run Space presented 5 solo showcase exhibitions in the parallel program of Manifesta 10.
